Sydney Airport hosted its third annual Jobs Fair in August this year, offering a range of exciting opportunities in the aviation sector as it aims to serve 2 billion passengers by 2040.
More than 4,000 attendees visited this year's Jobs Fair which featured more than 30 of the airport’s largest employers, including major airlines, retailers, government agencies, and terminal service providers.
Prospective employees met representatives from organisations including Qantas, Virgin Australia, Certis, Australian Border Force, Heinemann Oceania, Australian Federal Police, and Plaza Premium Lounge Australia.
Attendees were able to apply for jobs on the spot, with hundreds of positions available.
Sydney Airport CEO Scott Charlton said it was wonderful to host the third annual Jobs Fair at Sydney Airport.
“The Jobs Fair is a key part of our strategy to attract top talent and ensure we deliver the level of service and efficiency passengers should expect from Australia’s global gateway,” Mr Charlton said.
"As a major employer, Sydney Airport plays a crucial role in supporting the local community. In 2023, we contributed $39.8 billion to the economy and supported 314,600 full-time equivalent jobs.
