Sydney Airport has the world’s largest standalone airport duty free store spanning 9,000 square metres.

We’re delivering the duty free of the future, with an emphasis on exclusive and limited-edition products to create a unique value proposition for travellers. Shop an extensive selection of more than 28,000 products at tax free prices across 800 brands.

T1 Luxury Precinct

We welcome 12 new global brands to our luxury precinct in 2022 including Louis Vuitton, which will be the brand's first travel retail store in the Southern Hemisphere. The new store will also become our largest stand-alone luxury

Other brands inlcude Saint Laurent, Dior, Moncler, Loewe, Celine, Bottega Veneta, Prada, Balenciaga and Gentle Monster.

Once complete, international travellers will be greeted with the most comprehensive collection of luxury travel anywhere in Australia and New Zealand.

Dining

Whether it’s fast and fresh or farm to fork, there’s a healthy and delicious option for everyone at the airport.

We’ve partnered with a selection of the world’s most renowned chefs to deliver an elevated dining experience:

There’s also a range of casual dining options showcasing exciting food concepts, including Australian and airport firsts such as Terrace Chinese Kitchen, BBQ Chicken and Campos.

Design

Innovative design is at the heart of the passenger experience at Sydney Airport, with a world-class terminal environment showcasing enhanced facilities, clear sightlines to gates and the latest technology for a seamless passenger journey.

This year we elevated the roof at the luxury precinct by almost 10 metres, making the terminal light and bright so you can eat, shop, then enjoy stunning airfield views as you relax in our comfortable seating areas.

Foreign exchange

Sydney Airport has partnered with world-renowned foreign exchange operator Global Exchange to provide passengers with a high level of customer service. Global Exchange offers a range of tailored currency products and services, including:

  • convenient online ordering
  • promotional offers
  • click and collect service
  • seasonal promotions
  • incentives for higher currency exchange quantities
  • bilingual staff
  • competitive pricing

Global Exchange operates 25 foreign exchange bureaux across the T1 International terminal from 4am to 11pm, ensuring travellers can conveniently pick up foreign currency at the airport any time.
